Dreamtime Smoke Bundle (Smudge Stick)

Smoke bundles have been used to clear and protect spaces by traditional cultures throughout the world. I created the Dreamtime bundle with plants that provide us with protection as we sleep, encourage relaxation, and open our third eyes to vivid dreams.

These wildcrafted bundles are ethically and sustainably made with high altitude Rocky Mountain plants. I only use plants that I have developed a relationship with over the years, and I gather and make these bundles in sacred ceremony. On a personal note, I feel that the health of the forest always comes first, so I only take what is offered and do healing ceremonies for the land in return.

• Yarrow―my personal favorite for encouraging healthy boundaries

• Northern Bedstraw―traditionally used to fill mattresses, carries the legacy of sleep and smells wonderful

• Kinninik―traditional addition to smoking blends, offers protection and blessings

• Pussy toes―traditional addition to smoking blends, brings feelings of softness and safety, as well as relaxation

• Cinquefoil―has a rich history of magical use and traditionally brings love, money, health, power, and wisdom

• Valerian―a powerful sedative

To Use: Light one of the bundle, holding over a fireproof dish such as a ceramic bowl or large shell. Circle the bundle around the person, object, or area you wish to cleanse. Allow the smoke to carry your wishes to spirit. When finished, extinguish the smoldering end under running water, and continue to check to ensure that no sparks remain.
