Incense cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) is, as it’s name suggests, one of the most beautifully fragrant cedar trees. These bundles are made with sustainably gathered, wild incense cedar leaves and branches — and smell delightful.
Cedar is considered a sacred plant in many cultures throughout the world and is often burned as an offering to spirits, for purification, and to ward off negative energy. I’m delighted to be surrounded by gorgeous cedars that are happy to share their medicine with us.
To Use: Light one of the bundle, holding over a fireproof dish such as a ceramic bowl or large shell. Circle the bundle around the area, person, or item you wish to cleanse. When finished, extinguish the smoldering end under running water, and continue to check to ensure that no sparks remain.
Size varies, roughly 7 - 9 inches in length.
