A Transmission of Spirit in Every creation

As an alchemical artist, I create every offering in partnership with the muses. As a wild priestess, I infuse every bottle with a transmission of divine energy.

Every perfume is dedicated to a spiritual being—a deity, animal spirit, plant ally, or cosmic principle.

Once I connect with my intention for a aromatic offering, I begin to smell its aroma in the spirit realms before it ever exists in this reality, channeling its creation through an alchemical partnership with spirit and the muses.

The Alchemist

I am the descendant of artists. And, in line with my ancestors, I’ve dedicated my life to activating our souls’ knowing that beauty, and the sacred reverence it awakens in us, is the heart of life.

More than any other profession, both my mother’s and father’s lines are filled with successful creatives—fine artists, classical musicians, dancers, actors, writers, and photographers. Now, I’m honored to carry forward my lineage of artistry with every perfume I create.

The mantle of the artist runs deep in my blood, and the stars literally aligned to guide me towards my destiny: I’m not only a triple Libra, over half my entire natal chart lies in this Venusian sign (the struggle is real, lol).

From the time I was born, I have also thrived in the natural world—the wild earth is where I find solace, connection, and meaning. Perhaps the hours I spent mixing up magical elixirs with twigs, flowers, and river water was a sign of what was to come…

Now, I embody my love of the earth and Venusian spirit through the path of the wild priestess. Opulence and luxury can create a direct line to spirit, but only when done with reverence and respect for the natural world.

1980s

Made magical plant potions in the backyard ;)

1990s

Discovered essential oils. A prophetic dream initiated me into their spiritual dimensions.

2000s

Deep self study into the physical, energetic, and spiritual qualities of plants.

2012

Completed 610hr clinical aromatherapy certification.

2013

Completed professional training & certification at the Natural Perfumery Institute.

2015

The Alchemessence Perfumery was launched

2019

Completed both in-person mentorship and online study in advanced natural perfumery with Roxanna Villa of Illuminated Perfume.

Launched the Alchemessence website, expanding natural perfume offerings with sacred oils, flower essences, and more.

2020s

Refined skills with training in ancient Egyptian aromatics, Taoist anointing practices, aromapoint therapy, and ongoing mentorship in sacred perfumery.

Continue to offer the highest quality, most spiritually-potent natural perfumes and sacred botanicals available to customers worldwide.

Whole-Plant Perfume

Clean perfumes and natural fragrances are huge industry, and a lot of misinformation and greenwashing goes on behind the scenes at both big brands and indie perfume houses.

I am part of a growing movement of natural perfumers who are truly committed to natural, whole-plant perfume. There’s no formal terminology to set apart mainstream “natural” from 100% natural, so I like to use the term elevated naturals.

Alchemessence perfumes are elevated.

Synthetics: Contain manufactured aroma-molecules. Look for “safe synthetics”, aldehydes, unspecified naturalness.

Mixed: Contain a combination of manufactured aroma-molecules and natural botanicals. Most common type of perfume. Marketing will focus on natural elements, but synthetics will be found in ingredient lists.

Natural: Broad category that includes use of “natural” isolates—lab-extracted plant aromas, usually of GMO origin. Can also include cruelly-derived animal products.

Botanical: Contain only whole materials of plant origin (CO2s, absolutes, tinctures, essential oils).

Elevated: Made from pure, whole botanicals, cruelty-free tinctures of non-botanical substances (sea shells, stones, honey, etc.), and infused with energetic and spiritual attunements.

I do not use: synthetic materials, cruel animal-derived products, ingredients that have been tested on animals, or natural isolates (which are not very natural at all).

Full Luxury. No shortcuts.

These are maximalist creations.

I’ve scoured the globe for the finest, rarest, and most potent botanicals available—true blue lotus, shades of oud, nettle absolute, and boronia flower to name a few.

My perfumery is an alchemical cave.

Tinctures of wild plants and hand-ground resins sit on apothecary shelves. Crystals and prayers infuse every bottle with light codes of transformation.

As a plant priestess, neither expense nor time are factors in the creation.

I obtain the best raw materials available and weave them into complex aromas that transform the wearer.
