Reclaiming the Isis-Magdalene Lineage

There is an ancient path where the sacred feminine walked with oil in her hands and love in her heart. She anointed the dying, the kings, the initiates, and the sacred within herself.

She was called myrrhophore — bearer of holy fragrance.

This workshop is an invitation into that path.

Inspired by Mary Magdalene, the most remembered of the myrrhophores, this circle will guide you into remembrance, ritual, and deep feminine devotion.

Your Guide

Juniper Stokes, MA is a teacher, ritualist, and practitioner of the sacred feminine arts. She weaves together years of experience in shamanic practice, mythopoetic storytelling, plant spirit healing, and somatic transformation to guide others through thresholds of soul and self.

Her work honors ancient feminine lineages — from the temple priestesses of old to the mystics, medicine women, and myrrhophores who carried sacred oils, prayers, and initiations across time.

She is devoted to helping women remember who they are through earth-based ritual, embodiment, and sacred remembrance. With a deep reverence for the path of Mary Magdalene, she offers rituals and trainings to reclaim the wisdom of the anointing arts and the return of the feminine in all her beauty, power, and grief.

Juniper is currently creating an in-depth training in sacred aromatics for those who feel called to walk the way of scent, prayer, and devotion.

I created this gathering as a devotional offering — a remembrance of the woman who stood at the tomb, who dared to love without shame, and who carries the scent of mystery across centuries. This is a space to honor the sacred feminine line that lives in each of us.

    There are many devotional paths that work with here energy, so it might be most helpful to say that this is NOT rooted in…

    • spiritual relationships or partnership as a path to devotion

    It IS personal, embodied, heart-centered, feminine, and dynamic ;)

  • Since we will be doing a live anointing practice, I recommend you have an anointing oil on hand. You can easily make your own (or just use olive oil!), and I’ll provide you with instructions before our class. I definitely recommend the Mary Magdalene perfume oil I link to above, as well.
